A wedding is a big milestone in your life, but it won't be the last one! Any blessed event can be marked by a ceremony. And just as I did with your wedding, I will make sure that any blessing ceremony you choose will be designed around your tastes, beliefs, and backgrounds.

 

- When a family moves into a new home, it's an exciting time full of hope and promise. And you're most likely already inviting your family and friends over for a housewarming party anyway (if they aren't already there, having spent a week with you cleaning and unpacking), so why not invite over the minister to conduct a home blessing ceremony? Just the thing to formalize and finalize the start of your new life!

 

- "First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby in the baby carriage..." Well, in today's world those might be conducted out of order, depending on the couple, but regardless, when a child is born or adopted the parents often feel a need to celebrate the new addition to the family, and sometimes to commit to raising the child in a certain spiritual and cultural tradition. While I am unable to induct a child into a house of worship, I can design a ceremony that honors your earnest wishes for your child's, and family's, cultural and/or religious future.

 

- One thing all humans will experience is the end of earthly life. During that stressful and sorrowful time, it is important to choose an officiant who will compassionately negotiate the wishes of the departed with the needs of the mourners, to create a gentle and uplifting funeral or memorial ceremony. If you are in need of a nonsectarian or interdenominational minister to preside over a loved one's passing, look no further. I am here for you.

 

- Rites of passage occur every year in the form of holidays. If you want to do more with your holiday party than eat and socialize, an appropriate religio-cultural ceremony can be conducted. And no worries...a sacred ceremony needn't damper the festive atmosphere! As always, a holiday ceremony is designed with you (and your guests) in mind.
